The Lord Jesus warned us of the day when His Presence would not be known inside of some of His kind of Churches. While these worldly-looking, unspiritual Laodiceans held their services; The Lord Jesus would not be in attendance. He is pictured in the prophesy of Revelation 3:14-22, to be on the outside, knocking on the door of one of His own Assemblies; asking for someone in that Church to hear the voice of His Spirit, and let Him back in! Old-Fashioned, Independent, Fundamental, Still Separated, Baptist Churches must not allow the attitudes and the substandard practices of this “…lukewarm…” brand of worldly-christians to reconstitute the kind of Church which Jesus has “…purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28) 13,146 words
